"DO-178C Advanced Training" was successfully held


On June 26-28, 2018, the "DO-178C Advanced Training" organized by SAE and Shanghai Aiweixun was successfully held in Shanghai. Lecturer Dr. Wang Yunming led the participants in an in-depth analysis of the core foundation and basic principles of DO-178C in the three-day topic sharing and technical discussion, and learned the best practices of the software development process that meets the DO-178C airworthiness requirements.

It is the world ’s largest department for the preparation of technical standards for ground, ocean, aerospace, and transportation equipment. It organizes global aerospace, automotive, and commercial vehicles. Technical seminars in the field provide personal and professional development opportunities for more than 4,000 professional technicians every year. In November 2017, as a member of the editorial board of the international software airworthiness standard DO-178C, Dr. Wang Yunming of Shanghai Aiweixun was hired by SAE as the lecturer of the technical seminar, responsible for DO-178C basic training, DO-178C advanced training, DO -178C Development and teaching of practical combat training courses.


This advanced training conducted an in-depth analysis of the theoretical core and practical principles of the DO-178B / C standard, explained the DO-178C certification credit, analyzed the basic principles of DO-178C to ensure software security, and elaborated How to control the safety of airborne software to an acceptable confidence level. Then it deeply analyzes a series of key and difficult issues, such as data tracking, change impact analysis, change control, requirement coverage and structure coverage, MC / DC and shielded MC / DC, data coupling and control coupling, etc. Finally, it also involves tool identification, model-based development and verification, formal methods, object-oriented technology, and the combined use of DO-178C and DO-330, DO-331, DO-332, DO-333 and other standards. Participants have expressed that this course is rich and detailed, with a wide range of knowledge, and has a deeper and deeper understanding of the DO-178B / C standard, and through interactive communication with the lecturer, it has answered the doubts in the previous software development work and The future work has played a very good guiding role.




The next "DO-178C actual combat training" topic will be arranged from October 24th to 26th. The participants will follow the DO-178C standard to develop a set of airborne software in the form of actual combat exercises to help participants accumulate actual projects. Engineering experience.
